📸 PACS Screenshot Auto-Fill — Case Assignment Disabled
Lets coordinators paste a PACS screenshot in the "Assign Case" chat panel — the AI extracts accession + patient name automatically (no manual typing). Uses a SEPARATE Gemini API key from your primary AI features so usage and billing stay clean. Get a key from Google AI Studio.
⚠️ Also configure a Firebase Storage lifecycle rule on path pacs-screenshots/ to actually delete files (set in Firebase Console → Storage → Lifecycle).

Pick which engine powers voice dictation. Both can be configured below; only the selected one is used. Switching is instant and changes nothing about the mic, capture, commands, or editor.

Powers voice dictation in the report editor. Requires a separate Google Cloud project with "Cloud Speech-to-Text API" enabled. Get a key from Google Cloud Console (this is NOT the same as the Gemini AI Studio key above).
ℹ️ For radiology reports, use "Medical Dictation" model + English (US). The Conversation model is for doctor-patient dialogues and will mis-hear radiology terms (e.g., "helical axial" → drug names). Indian English speakers are well-recognized by the US model. Spoken punctuation ("colon" → ":") and a 200-phrase radiology vocabulary boost are always applied.
💡 Cost: $0.078/minute (medical dictation model) — billed by Google directly. VAD reduces actual minutes billed to ~30-40% of clock time. Permission-gated: only employees with voice dictation permission can use this.
🎙️ Nova-3 Medical (Deepgram) — Voice Dictation Disabled
Medical-grade voice dictation at a fraction of Google's cost. Requires a separate Deepgram account — get a free key ($200 credit, no card) at Deepgram Console (this is NOT a Google key).
ℹ️ Nova-3 Medical is tuned for clinical/radiology vocabulary (drug names, acronyms, Latin terms) with a very low error rate. Your radiology vocabulary boost is applied automatically as keyterms (top 100). Spoken punctuation and smart formatting are on. Real-time per-utterance, same as Google.
💡 Cost: ~$0.0048/minute (Nova-3 streaming) — billed by Deepgram directly, ~16× cheaper than Google's medical model. Permission-gated: uses the same voice-dictation permission as Google STT.
